KARMA AND “I”

Hello friends,

These past few months, I have been prioritizing on serious health issues of my loved ones. While doing so, my need to reinforce the  celebration of  life has been enhanced . We really tend to take life for granted until we reach a crisis situation. I wonder why many of us prefer to engage in trivia instead of focusing on health , love and personal growth, which is possible only while we are on this physical plane. It would be interesting to take stock of the hours we actually engage in productive activity.

Is it really so difficult to understand that beyond the evident diversity , we are all connected ? Is it so difficult to celebrate the similarities AND the differences and know that it is the differences that make each one of us unique ?

Our tragedy is that we seek immortality in a transient word and fail to discover the permanent nature of our soul. Each one of us has to analyse the reasons for our failure in doing so.

It has been steadily dawning on me that we create our own reality with our own thoughts, feelings, our ego and reactions to people , events and places, in fact, to everything. Each reaction translated into speech and action contributes to the KARMIC build up which, in turn, translates into the cycle of cause and effect, determining our karmic balance sheet. We should also know then , that this balance sheet determines our cycle of birth and death.

Past Karma can be cleansed and future ones created with wisdom. THE ONUS TO DO SO IS ON EACH OF US.
